    摘要: A display device (1) includes a base substrate (110) comprising a pixel area which has light-transmitting (TA) and light-blocking (BA) areas.
    A projection portion (330) projecting up from the light-blocking area includes a first sub-colour filter (331) and a second sub-colour filter (333), each having different pigments and overlapping each other. A light-blocking member (220) is disposed on both the projection portion and the base portion to provide a spacer (called a spacing member (MCS)) in the light-blocking area. In a first direction (D1), the width of the first sub-colour filter (W11) differs from the width of the second sub-colour filter (W13); in a second direction (D2) which intersects the first direction, the width of the first sub-colour filter (W21) differs from the width of the second sub-colour filter (W23). This arrangement reduces the number of mask steps required to define the spacer.
