Abstract: An electronic device (100) including: a connector (110) including a voltage terminal (T_VBUS); a battery (180); a corruption detection circuit (130) configured to detect whether the connector (110) is corrupted; a voltage cutoff circuit (120) configured to electrically connect the voltage terminal (T_VBUS) with an internal node when corruption of the connector (110) is not detected by the corruption detection circuit (130) and to electrically disconnect the voltage terminal (T_VBUS) from the internal node when the corruption is detected by the corruption detection circuit (130); a charging pin (150) connected with the internal node, and configured to transfer a voltage of the internal node to an external device when the charging pin (150) is connected with the external device; and a power management integrated circuit (160) connected between the internal node and the battery (180), and configured to charge the battery (180) by using the voltage of the internal node or to generate the voltage of the internal node by using a voltage of the battery (180).
