    摘要: An electronic device according to various embodiments comprises: a communication module enabling communication with an external device; a display; a memory; and a processor operatively connected to the communication module. The processor may: display on the display at least one image and/or text associated with payment information in at least partial response to an input by a user; determine whether or not a payment process using the electronic device is to start in accordance with which an authentication of the user is confirmed; transmit a first signal for requesting authentication to the external device in accordance with which the external device is confirmed to have approached within a predetermined distance from the electronic device; transmit a second signal associated with the payment process by means of the communication module in accordance with which the authentication of the external device is confirmed; determine whether or not the payment process using the electronic device is complete in accordance with which a response of the external device with respect to the second signal is confirmed; transmit a third signal, indicating that the payment process is complete, to the external device by means of the communication module in accordance with which completion of the payment process is determined; and control the external device to be in a no transaction state in accordance with which a response by the external device with respect to the third signal is not confirmed within a predetermined time after the transmission of the third signal.
