A method for a UE reporting a CQI comprising steps of: obtaining a total number M of CQI report sub-bands in a system and a number N of CQI report sub-bands needed to be reported; measuring channel qualities of all sub-bands and according to the measurement result, determining N CQI report sub-bands needed to be reported and corresponding CQI values; sending a L-bit long sequence to a base station for indicating the sub-bands that need to be reported; sending CQI values corresponding to the sub-bands needed to be reported to the base station. The present invention uses comparatively shorter bit sequence to indicate CQI report sub-bands needed to be reported and reduces the number of information bits necessaiy for CQI report sub-bands and also reduces the number of information bits corresponding to the CQI values in the CQI report sub-bands.

An apparatus and method for feeding back hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information are provided. The apparatus and method include user equipment (UE) that first receives a downlink grant (DL-GRANT) which schedules downlink HARQ transmission in a time-frequency bundling window corresponding to an uplink subframe used for feeding back HARQ-ACK, obtains a DL downlink assignment index (DL DAI) in the DL-GRANT, and determines a mapping value of each DL DAI. Then, according to the mapping value of the corresponding DL DAI, the HARQ-ACK bit of each HARQ feedback unit is mapped to a corresponding bit of a feedback bit sequence. According to the method and apparatus provided by the present disclosure, useless HARQ-ACK bits may be effectively removed, and efficiency for feeding back HARQ-ACK may be increased. As such, a downlink peak rate of a UE is ensured.

The method includes receiving configuration information from a base station, the configuration information configuring first and second CSI subframe sets; identifying a first interference measurement resource within the first CSI subframe set or a second interference measurement resource within the second CSI subframe set based on the configuration information; in response to identifying the first interference measurement, obtaining a first CSI based on the first resource; and reporting the first CSI to the BS, in response to identifying the second interference measurement, obtaining a second CSI based on the second resource; reporting the second CSI to the BS, wherein the first CSI and the second CSI are respectively associated with the first CSI subframe set and the second subframe set, and wherein the first interference measurement resource and the second interference measurement resource carry different zero-power CSI-reference signals.
