摘要： The invention relates to a pneumatic compaction device (10) and to a method for pneumatically compacting a fiber assembly (2) which was preferably stretched in the area of a drafting line (1) of a spinning machine. The inventive compaction device comprises transport means (15) for the fiber assembly (2) and a cover (30) that is provided with at least one guide (31, 31') extending in the direction of feed of the fiber assembly (2) for the air that effects compaction. The invention thus provides an excellent device and method for compacting the fiber assembly.
