    摘要: The invention relates to a method for preparing fiberboards from wood fibers. According to the inventive method, chopped wood particles are treated by admixing saturated steam. Once the wood particles are size-reduced to wood fibers, superheated steam is admixed, thereby drying and conveying the wood fibers. The wood fibers are removed from the superheated steam or saturated steam in a first separator (5). The dried wood fibers are fed to a sizing section (18) by means of a gaseous transport medium, the flow velocity being increased upstream of the sizing section (18). The increased kinetic energy of the wood fibers allows for an even sizing thereof. The superheated steam from the first separator (5) is fed to a distributor chamber (9) in order to enable its reuse.
