The light source (2) is arranged inside the lamp retainer (1) in a light source retainer (4). A light cap (5) composed of a transparent material such as glass and/or plastic is arranged at the end of the lamp retainer at which the light exits. The light cap (5) has a centrical hole, preferably a blind hole (7), at the surface facing the light source (2). A preferably elongated optical waveguide (8), which protrudes into the centrical hole of the light cap (5), is arranged above the light source (2). The light source (2) is at least a light-emitting diode, preferably a high-power light-emitting diode.
