    Abstract: An automatic wind-up screen device where resistance in screen-stretching operation is reduced as much as possible even with a damper provided in the device to absorb shock and collision noise during screen wind-up operation. One end of a coil spring is fixed to a bracket of a winding box, the other end is fixed to a winding shaft, and the damper is provided to absorb shock and collision noise. A one-way clutch mechanism is provided between the damper on a fixed shaft fixed to the winding box and the winding shaft. The clutch mechanism cuts off the connection between the damper and the winding shaft when the winding shaft is rotated in the direction to stretch the screen against rotational urging force of the coil spring, and the clutch mechanism connects the damper and the winding shaft when the winding shaft is rotated in the direction to wind up the screen.
