An optical communication network configuration method for creating a link between an optical network unit (ONU) and an optical line terminal (OLT) is provided. The configuration method comprises following steps. The ONU submits a universal management information base (universal MIB) to the OLT. The universal MIB is pre-stored in the ONU, and is compatible with various different OLT models. The ONU receives a set of configuration parameters from the OLT and recognizes the type of the OLT accordingly. The ONU selects a management information base (MIB) matching the OLT according to the recognized type of OLT. The ONU uses the MIB matching the OLT to create an ONU management and control interface (OMCI) with the OLT.

A power line communication (PLC) signal pass-through device is disclosed. The PLC signal pass-through device includes a PLC adaptor; and a PLC signal transmission line, coupled to the PLC adaptor. The PLC signal transmission line includes a plurality of data wires, the data wires are grouped into a plurality of twist pairs, and the twist pairs transmit a plurality of data streams, respectively. The PLC signal transmission line between the PLC adaptor and the modem includes 4 data wires which are grouped into two twist pairs, and each twist pair transmits a data stream, respectively. Therefore, the PLC signal transmission line may transmit more data streams for improving the transmission efficiency. Besides, because each of the twist pairs is protected by the respective protection element, signals transmitted on the twist pairs may be not seriously interfered or influenced.

The wireless network communication system comprises a wireless network communication device (2) and a power supply unit (3). The power supply unit comprises a power supplier (31), a power detection circuit (32) and a wireless communication module (33). The power supplier converts an AC voltage into a working voltage required by the wireless network communication device. The power detection circuit comprises a rectifier circuit, a voltage divider and regulator circuit and a photoelectric isolation circuit. The rectifier circuit converts the AC voltage into a DC voltage. The voltage divider and regulator circuit provides a reference voltage according to the DC voltage. The photoelectric isolation circuit outputs a power detection signal (AL) according to the reference voltage. The wireless communication module transmits the power detection signal to the wireless network communication device by way of wireless transmission.
