Abstract:
There are provided a light source device and a display device which do not generate a wrinkle on an optical sheet even if the optical sheet is held on an LED substrate. A reflection sheet 11 is disposed between each of head portions possessed by a rivet, a positioning rivet and a support rivet and one surface of an LED substrate 8 where an LED is mounted, and a gap in a direction of a sheet thickness is provided between the head portion of each of the rivets and the reflection sheet 11. In the case in which a sudden thermal change is caused, therefore, the reflection sheet 11 expands or contracts between the head portion of each of the rivets and the reflection sheet 11 so that the wrinkle can be prevented from being generated over the reflection sheet 11.

A reflection sheet (5) for reflecting light emitted from a light source (1) comprises a flat portion (51) and a frame portion (52) that continues in a foldable manner with a first fold (5b) formed on a rim of the flat portion (51). Furthermore, a display device comprising a display unit (70) that has a display surface at one side thereof and a light source device is also disclosed, which comprises a light source (1), a support case (6) that supportingly houses the light source (1) and said reflection sheet (5) for reflecting light applied from the light source (1).

In order to realize thickness reduction and frame size reduction and secure rigidity without using a bezel, in a structure for holding a display panel disposed within a cabinet, which includes a frame part positioned on one side of a display face of the display panel; a peripheral part positioned around the display panel; and a rear part covering the other face side of the display panel, from both sides by the frame part and a holding member supported by the peripheral part, a projecting portion projects on an inner face portion of the frame part in a position on an outer peripheral side of a rim portion of the display panel and the holding member so as to extend from the side of the display face of the display panel toward the opposite side of the display face, and a reinforcing portion for coupling the inner face portion of the projecting portion and the inner face portion of the frame part is provided. In order to improve the dust-proof property on a peripheral side of the display panel, the projecting portion is formed integrally with the inner face portion of the frame part to be provided in the shape of a ring around the display panel, and includes coupling portions integrally formed in a plurality of circumferential positions of the projecting portion, and the holding member has coupled portions to be coupled with the coupling portions.
