A lighting apparatus 100 includes: an LED module 60; a power supply part 80 supplying electricity to the LED module 60; a heat sink 30 releasing heat generated by the LED module 60; a cap 10 containing in the inside at least a part of the power supply part 80; and an insulating member 20 located between the cap 10 and the heat sink 30. In the insulating member 20, one end side has a connection part 24 connected to the inside of the cap 10. The connection part 24 has an opening part 25 conducting heat from the power supply part 80 to the cap 10. A lighting apparatus 100 comprises: an LED module 60; a heat sink 30 releasing heat generated by the LED module 60; and a light source supporting body 40 having a locking part 44 locking to the heat sink 30 so as to hold the LED module 60 on the heat sink 30. This avoids the necessity of screws used for attaching the LED module 60 to the heat sink 30, and hence reduces the number of components and realizes easy attaching work for the light source.
