摘要： Method for assembling a modular support structure (1) of an item-processing machine comprising hubs (2,2') for bearing respective shafts (3,3') of moving members, and a plurality of link elements (4,4') fixable at hubs (2,2'); the method comprising: a) providing a toleranced jig plate (5) with means (50,50') defining the definitive boss position of hubs (2,2'); b) providing fixing portions (20; 26, 27) integral with hubs (2,2') or fixing portions integral with link elements (41, 41'; 42, 42'), fixing portions (20; 26, 27; 41, 41'; 42, 42') defining a volume (22; 49) for receiving in loose engagement a respective fixing portion and tillable with a curable resin; c) arranging hubs (2,2') at their defined boss positions; d) arranging link elements (4,4') in loose engagement with hubs (2,2') to form a temporary skeleton; and e) permanently fixing link elements (4,4') to respective fixing portions of hubs (2,2') via injection and hardening of a curable resin.
