    摘要: The invention relates to a method for the automatic configuration of a communications device (TP1) using a reserved identification number, at least one network node device (ROU1), which administers an associated subnetwork of a network (LAN), at least one virtual network (VLAN1), with which the communications device (TP1) is associated, whereby data packets exchanged within the virtual network (VLAN1) are tagged with the reserved identification number. According to the inventive method, a network address of the subnetwork is determined by a network element (DA) arranged in the network (LAN). A configuration message adjusted with the network address of the subnetwork as the target address is transmitted by the network element (DA) to the network node device (ROU1), which message is transmitted by the network node device (ROU1) to the virtual network (VLAN1) as a broadcast message tagged with the reserved identification number. The broadcast message is received by the communications device (TP1) and the communications device (TP1) is configured using the identification number.

    摘要: The packet-oriented communications facility (KE) comprises at least one token-bucket unit (TBU), which consists of a time-bucket unit (TMB) and of a byte-credit unit (BCU). Data volume tokens (T), which each represent a predetermined data volume (B), are stored in the byte-credit unit (BCU). A token generation time interval (TEI) and a token generation time (TB) are assigned to the time-bucket unit (TMB). In addition, a processing time (Tnow) is assigned to each data packet (DP1) before the subsequent processing. In the time-bucket unit (TMB), the transmission time interval (TV) available for the subsequent processing of a data packet (DP1) is determined, and a portion of the available transmission time interval (TV) is converted into data volume tokens (T) solely in the event that the token generation time interval (TEI) is exceeded by the determined available transmission time interval (TV). The generated data volume tokens (T) are stored in the byte-credit unit (BCU), and the token generation time (TB) is updated. The data volume (DDP1) required for subsequently processing the data packet (DP1) is subsequently allocated in such a manner that the number (k1) of data volume tokens (T) of the byte-credit unit (BCU) corresponding to data volume (DDP1) are removed.
