摘要: The invention describes an apparatus (1) for inspecting an adhesive layer (30) applied about the leading edge (20P LE , 20S LE , 2 LE ) of a wind turbine rotor blade (2), which apparatus (1) comprises a heating assembly (1H) configured to direct heat at a portion (P, P hot ) of the adhesive layer (30) between the outer edges (30P, 30S) of the adhesive layer (30); an infrared imaging means (1IR) arranged to obtain an infrared image (11 IR ) of a heated portion (P hot ); and a displacement means (13, 14) adapted to move the inspection apparatus (1) alongside the rotor blade (2) during operation of the heating assembly (1H) and the infrared imaging means (1IR) to facilitate infrared imaging of the adhesive layer (30).

摘要: A method for manufacturing a wind turbine blade, comprising the steps of:
- arranging an upper mould (8) comprising a pre-casted fibre lay-up (9") on a lower mould (23) comprising a dry fibre lay-up (24') and a mould core (46),
- applying vacuum to a space (63) between the upper and lower moulds (8, 23) and the mould core (46),
- infusing at least the dry fibre lay-up (24') and a connection region (66, 67) between the dry fibre lay-up (24') and the pre-casted fibre lay-up (9") with a resin (65), and curing the resin (65).
By having the pre-casted fibre lay-up in the upper mould, the packing and positioning of dry composite materials on top of the mould core is avoided.
