摘要:
To transfer the toner (21) from a storage vessel (20) into the toner storage container, a depression is created in the latter by means of a suction fan. The toner storage container is connected via a flexible pipe to an inseparable suction spout in the transfer container. The spout comprises an internal tube (29) communicating with the flexible pipe, and an external tube (31) which totally surrounds at a distance the inner tube (29), is open to the atmosphere in its upper part and is provided in its lower part with inlet openings (33) for the toner. The through-flow of air draws the toner through the toner inlet openings (33). The toner storage tank itself is divided into a deposit area and a suction area, which are separated by a filter. As a result of the through-flowing air stream the filter becomes arched. The inversion of the arch causes the detachment of the toner (21) adhering thereto, which then falls into the deposit area.

A process for assembling strip-like LED chips (112) in a row on a solid metal support (M) permits compliance with extremely close tolerances in all three directions as regards interspacing, linearity and surface planarity. In addition, optimal thermal coupling to the metal support (M) ensures dissipation of the high heat loses from the LEDs (113) of an LED chip (112). The LED chips (112) are placed on the metal support (M) by a transfer process. They are accurately positioned, face upward, and glued onto an auxiliary support (H1). The prefabricated LED row (114) is then soldered to the previously soldered metal support (M), after which the auxiliary support (H1) is detached.
摘要:
A non-mechanical printer usually comprises a character generator (1) with a plurality of light sources (113) in the form of chips (112) fastened to the character generator (1). In the event of failure of one light source (113), it is not possible to simply interchange individual chips (112) and the entire character generator (1) must be replaced. The character generator (1) according to the invention is of modular design, i.e. individual modules (11), each with a plurality of light sources (113), are detachably fastened to a module carrier (13) of the character generator (1), so that in the event of failure of individual light sources (113) or other electronic components, individual modules (11) can be simply interchanged. The character generator is particularly suitable for non-mechanical printers, in particular electrophotographic printers.
