摘要： A method, apparatus and system are provided for enhancing port multipliers. In one embodiment, a port multiplier is configured to couple a network host with port multipliers. The port multiplier includes a top port multiplier to establish and maintain communication with each of the port multipliers to communicate with the network host, and the port multipliers having intermediate port multipliers and/or bottom port multipliers. Further, network devices are in communication with the port multipliers, the port multiplier, and the network host.

摘要： Embodiments of the invention are generally directed to transfer of control bus signaling on a packet- switched network. An embodiment of a method includes sending control signals from a first device on a first control bus, the control signals being sent according to an interface protocol, the control signals being intended for a second device. The method further includes detecting a current state of the first control bus, where the current state is a control signal value driven by the first device; inserting a control signal representing the current state of the control bus into a data packet; and transmitting the data packet to the second device via a packet-switched network.

摘要： A mechanism for facilitating clock recovery for streaming content over a packetized network is described. A method of embodiments includes receiving an estimated data stream at a first device. The estimated data stream may include estimated data format information relating to a data stream expected to be received at the first device. The method may further include performing, at the first device, clock regeneration of the estimated data stream based on the estimated data format information. The clock regeneration may include performing clock recovery of the estimated data stream.
