    摘要: A pressure mapping system is disclosed for measuring and analyzing forces applied to an object over time. The system comprises a hardware portion, comprising a pressure sensor having a plurality of electrodes in an electrode array layer proximate to a pressure sensing material layer of piezo resistive material, shaped for one or more exterior surfaces of the object. The pressure sensing layer is in communication with control electronics (a "control board"). The control board has a power supply and a communications module for obtaining measurements from the pressure sensing layer and for transmitting the measurements as data. The system also comprises a software application for receiving and analysing the data, and outputting diagnostic information relating the measurements from the pressure sensing layer and the estimated locations of forces on the pressure sensing layer.
