The display device includes a control circuit. The control circuit controls a transistor to be turned off in a case where a light emitting element emits light, the transistor being connected to a terminal to which signals for determining driving and light emission intensity of the light emitting element are applied and initializing the signal for determining the light emission intensity, and controls the transistor to be turned on and then controls the transistor to be turned off in a case where the light emitting element shifts to an extinction state.
