摘要： A method of dithering of an image is described. The method includes analyzing each of a plurality of pixels of the image, wherein each pixel of the plurality of pixels exhibits integer value N-bit color depth and determining a particular index value of each pixel of the image, a particular numerical value associated with a particular color component of each pixel of the image, and a particular threshold value associated with the particular color component of each pixel of the image. The particular threshold value is common between pixels of the image separated by a predetermined number of pixels. The method further includes modifying, based on the determining, each of the plurality of pixels of the image to exhibit integer value M-bit color depth, wherein integer value M is less than integer value N.
