摘要： The invention relates to a connector (1) with a housing (2) and a shielding contact (4). To reduce the dimensions of the connector (1), the connector (1) according to the invention comprises a housing (2) and a shielding contact (4), wherein a gap (10) running in the circumferential direction (U) extends between the housing (2) and the shielding contact (4), wherein a mating housing (66) of a mating connector (64) may be inserted into the gap (10) in a plugging direction (S). The gap (10) opens in the plugging direction (S) into a sealing section (12) in which a sealing ring (14) is retained axially between the shielding contact (4) and the housing (2).
