摘要： A system for controlling the pumping rate of a producing well using a rod pump in which a vibration sensor 95 is attached to the above ground pump structure. A processor 96 analyses signals from the vibration system sensor 95 to identify vibrations indicating the occurrence of fluid pound and controls the speed of the rod pump accordingly.
