摘要： There is provided a bleaching composition adapted for use in machine dishwashing having reduced silver-tarnishing and enhanced glassware pattern protection properties, as well as good cleaning performance. The bleaching composition contains a silicate-based alkalinity system containing a minor proportion of sodium metasilicate and has a pH measured as a 1 % solution of said composition at 20 °C of from 9.0 to 11.5.
