    摘要： Aminopropyl ethylene diamine is reacted with a fatty acid or amide-forming derivative thereof to form a fatty diamide having a secondary amine group. The secondary amine group is then converted into a tertiary amine group by imidazoline formation or by alkoxylation and the tertiary amine group is quaternised. The resultant product includes an aminopropyl group which imparts improved fabric softening properties.
