In a coupon card having a record representative of an amount of money and used for payment of a charge for goods or services, a card processing device (40) reads the record as a read amount, compares the read amount with a predetermined value and printing onto the card a visible mark representative of present of a benefit when the read amount coincides with the predetermined value.
