摘要： An apparatus capable of accurately measuring the concentration of a solid suspended in a liquid. A transmitter (1) for sending acoustic and light waves, and a receiver (2) positioned on the opposite side of the transmitter (1) are provided. Small tubular members (3, 4) surrounding a wave transmitting surface portion of the transmitter and a wave reveiving surface portion of the receiver and opened in the wave transmitting and receiving directions respectively, and a means for filling these small tubular members with a clean liquid or gas are also provided. Since the wave transmitting surface of the transmitter and the wave receiving surface of the receiver are not soiled with suspended solid deposited and formed thereon, an accurate concentration measuring operation can be carried out at all times.
