摘要： A vehicle side airbag device (40) including an inflator (44), a side airbag (46), and a duct (48) is installed at a side section on a vehicle width direction outer side of a seatback (16) of a vehicle seat (12) configured to restrain an occupant using a three-point seatbelt (32). The side airbag receives a supply of gas from the inflator (44) in a vehicle side-on collision. As a result, a waist chamber (46D) is inflated and deployed from a lower portion of the side section toward a side of a waist (W) of the occupant, and a head chamber (46A) is inflated and deployed from an upper face side of the side section toward a side of a head (H) of the occupant (P). The duct extends along a vertical direction of the side airbag inside the side airbag, and is configured to guide gas from the inflator (44) into the waist chamber (46D) and into the head chamber (46A).
