摘要： The invention concerns a drainage device for removing fluids by suction from body cavities, in particular from pleural cavity (12), the device having a drainage line (52) for removing the fluids by suction and a device (84) for creating an underpressure in the body cavity. The invention calls for an auxiliary line (54) whose channel at the patient end is in fluid contact with the channel of the drainage line (52), and for a gas to be supplied to the body cavity through the auxiliary line. The drainage device proposed enables troubles in drainage to be avoided and ensures that the drainage system is not obstructed.
