    摘要: A method and controlling node ( 400) of a cellular network, to control measurements on signals to or from a User Equipment, UE, engaged in a radio communication in a cluster cell served by multiple transmission points (404). A set of conditions potentially affecting performance for the UE in the cluster cell, is identified. At least one type of reference signals and corresponding radio measurement(s) are then selected based on the identified set of conditions. The controlling node obtains measurements made on the selected type(s) of reference signals according to the radio measurement(s), and configures a UE-specific measurement set of transmission points (406) for the UE, out of the transmission points (404) serving the cluster cell, based on the obtained measurements. The user equipment transmits information data to be received both by the serving base station and the supporting base station. The method comprises: decoding information data bits received from the user equipment into a first likelihood value, without determining a binary value for each bit of the information data, a supportive likelihood value of the information data bits transmitted from the user equipment is received from the supporting base station, which supportive likelihood value is based on a decoding of the information data bits performed in the supporting base station. The first likelihood value of the decoded information bits is combined with the received supportive likelihood value of the decoded information bits. Thus a binary value for each bit of the information data transmitted from the user equipment is determined, based on the combined first and supportive likelihood values.

    摘要: The present invention uses user-specific resources, as allocated on the uplink, for conveying one or more antenna-specific sounding reference signals (SRSs). This technique advantageously permits, for example, a user equipment (UE) configured for uplink Multiple- Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) operation to send antenna-specific SRSs within the granted resources allocated to the UE via one or more scheduled uplink grants. That is, within the granted resources allocated by a given uplink grant, a UE uses at least a portion of those resources for sending antenna-specific SRSs, rather than for sending uplink data (user traffic). Thus, in one or more embodiments, the present invention comprises a method at a UE of transmitting antenna-specific SRSs for two or more uplink transmit antennas. The method comprises transmitting an antenna-specific sounding reference signal for at least one of the uplink transmit antennas within a granted resource allocated to the user equipment for a scheduled uplink data transmission.
