    摘要: There is disclosed a method in a User Equipment, UE, for enabling interception, decoding and/or processing of at least parts of a Media Access Control, MAC, level message. The method comprises the steps of receiving configuration information comprising information to add additional information to a MAC level message, and creating a bit string representing the additional information. The method also comprise the step of adding the created bit string to the MAC level message, to enable a recipient of said MAC level message to determine, based on the additional information represented by the bit string, whether at least part of a payload of the MAC level message is to be intercepted, decoded and/or processed. There is further disclosed a method in a base station for decoding a corresponding MAC level message. A corresponding User Equipment, UE, and a base station configured for the methods are also disclosed.

    摘要: In an aspect, a wireless terminal, operating in a wireless communication system with distinct areas that each include base stations, transmits a data packet to a network node on a common channel. The data packet includes a header with an identifier that is an area-specific identifier for the wireless terminal. The wireless terminal has been allocated an area-specific identifier but not a cell-specific identifier. A network node of the wireless communication system receives the data packet sent from the wireless terminal. The network node associates the area-specific identifier for the wireless terminal in the data packet with a network-wide identifier for the wireless terminal and handles the data packet according to the network-wide identifier.

    摘要: A method and system to reduce a probability of incorrect interruption of an uplink transmission of a wireless device are disclosed. According to one aspect, decoding of a sequence of bits obtained from a signal received by the wireless device is performed without knowing whether the sequence corresponds to one of a grant for uplink transmission and noise. Decoding of the sequence of bits is performed to determine a probability metric associated with a first m bits of the sequence, where m is an integer greater than 1. The probability metric is compared to a threshold. The received signal is interpreted as having a grant sequence if the probability metric is greater than the threshold. The received signal is interpreted as noise if the probability metric is not greater than the threshold.
