摘要: A method of filling a shape, wherein the shape has a boundary with at least one curved line, is disclosed. The method is suitable for use in a device having graphics processing capabilities and comprises dividing the shape into a plurality of sub-shapes, each comprising at least first, second and third vertices, wherein at least the first and second vertices of a sub-shape are points of the boundary of the shape and wherein the first and second vertices of a sub-shape are determined as a first and second extremity point of a line of the boundary if the line is a straight line, creating a mask associated with the shape based on the plurality of sub-shapes, the mask comprising mask elements, and using the mask to fill the shape. The method also comprises determining, for each of the at least one curved lines, if it comprises at least one point having either a horizontal or a vertical tangent. If the curved line does not comprise at least one point having either a horizontal or a vertical tangent, the method determines the first and second vertices of a sub-shape as a first and second extremity point of the curved line. If the curved line comprises at least one point having either a horizontal or a vertical tangent, the method determines at least one of the first and second vertices of a sub-shape as one of the at least one points having either a horizontal or a vertical tangent.
