    摘要: The invention concerns phase-shifting cells constituting passive reflector arrays of antennae with reconfigurable orientation emitting in the microwave domain. More particularly, the invention concerns, in the context of phase-shifting cells with dipole wires (7) with star-shaped angular distribution, a novel type of switch consisting of a MEMS device including essentially a suspended micro-membrane (11) which, under the action of an electrostatic force brought about by a control voltage, is sufficiently deformed to ensure an electric connection between the wires (7) enabling a dipole to be formed in the desired orientation. In a particular embodiment, the micro-membrane (11) can be compared to one of the armatures of a capacitor and its deformation corresponds to a significant increase of the capacitance of the capacitor, thereby ensuring the electric connection. This particular switch technology provides the advantages of greater simplicity and enhanced performances as compared to known technologies. The invention provides the main geometrical and technical features enabling optimized performances.
