摘要： The invention relates to a process for the manufacture of detergent compositions or components from a surfactant paste which is substantially in the solid phase at temperatures of 25 °C and below comprising the steps of: (i) mixing the surfactant paste at a temperature above its softening point, the surfactant paste comprising at least 50 % by weight of nonionic surfactant; (ii) forming the molten surfactant paste into drops on a cooling surface; (iii) forming solid pastilles by cooling the drops of molten surfactant paste; and (iv) removing solidified pastilles from the cooling surface. The invention also relates to pastillated granulated detergent compositions or components made by the process.

摘要： A process for continuously preparing high density detergent composition is provided. The process comprises the steps of: (a) continuously charging a detergent surfactant paste and dry starting detergent material into a mixer/densifier for densification and build-up to obtain agglomerates; (b) feeding the agglomerates into a conditioning apparatus for improving the flow properties of the agglomerates and for separating the agglomerates into a first agglomerate mixture and a second agglomerate mixture; (d) recycling the first agglomerate mixture into the mixer/densifier for further agglomeration; (e) admixing adjunct detergent ingredients to the second agglomerate mixture so as to form the high density detergent composition.

摘要： A vacuum-assisted process for making a fluid-containing water-soluble pouch comprising the steps of a) placing a first sheet of elastic film material over a horizontal mould comprising a cavity and a flange; b) drawing the film material into the cavity with vacuum assistance while maintaining the film under tension to form an open pouch; c) filling the open pouch; d) closing and sealing the open pouch with a second sheet of film material; e) releasing the vacuum applied to the pouch. The pouches obtained according to the process of the invention have a reduce air content. The use of the pouches containing detergent composition for laundry and dishwashing is also disclosed.

摘要： A method of washing dishware/tableware in an automatic dishwashing machine having a single or multi-compartment product dispenser which is normally closed and sealed after charging the machine and prior to delivery of the dishwashing product into the wash liquor and wherein the dishwashing product comprises one or more dishwashing compositions in a unit dose form having a degree of deformability greater than about 10 % and a shape and size such that the dishwashing product occupies more than about 60 %, preferably more than about 85 % of the volume of the corresponding compartment of the product dispenser in its closed state. The method allows for optimum delivery of active components across different washing machine types.

摘要： A water-soluble pouch suitable for use in machine dishwashing and which comprises a plurality of compartments in generally superposed or suppressible relationship, each containing one or more detergent active or auxiliary components, and wherein the pouch has a volume of from about 5 to about 70 ml and a longitudinal/transverse aspect ratio in the range from about 2:1 to about 1:8, preferably from about 1:1 to about 1:4. The water-soluble pouch allows for optimum delivery of dishwashing detergent. A process for the manufacture of multi-compartment pouches and a pack to contain the pouches are also disclosed.
