摘要： The present invention relates to a latch mechanism configured to secure two bodies together by simply placing one body on top of the other and applying moderate downward pressure to the top body. The latch mechanism includes a housing and a latch partially disposed within the housing. The latch includes a main body, and a primary hook and an opposing secondary hook both extending from the main body. The latch is configured to be rotatable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the primary hook is not obscured by the housing. In the second position, the primary hook is substantially obscured by the housing. The latch mechanism also includes a bias configured to bias the latch toward its first position.

摘要： A storage module which may form part of a stackable storage system is disclosed. The module includes an upper surface having two front spring loaded latches on one side and two rear tabs formed on the opposite side. A sliding or rotating surface tab is disposed between each pair of a spring loaded latch and rear tab. The module includes front and rear lower projecting steps and can be stacked on each other by inserting the steps under the rear tabs and latches. Various sized containers may be disposed on the upper surface of a module in different configurations by making use of the latches, rear tabs and sliding tabs. The module may be a drawer storage module or a container with a pivoting cover.

摘要： The present invention relates to an automatic locking mechanism (10) configured to automatically secure and selectively release a first object to a second object, and including a latch (12) having a base (14), a pivoting portion (16) to pivotally secure the latch to the first object about an axis (A), a securing portion (18) having a receiving surface (20) to contact the second object and to pivot the latch about the axis (A) in a first direction. The securing portion also includes a hook (22) to automatically secure the second object to the first object. The latch also includes a bias support (24) attached to the base and including an arch (26) protruding into the first object and defining a space (28) between the first object and an interior apex of the arch. The latch further includes a cam structure (32) attached to the base and including a receiving surface to contact a third object and pivot the latch about the axis (A) in the first direction in response to the selective movement of the third object. The latch further includes a biasing mechanism (36) positioned in the space between the first object and the interior apex of the arch, and configured to bias the latch toward pivoting about the axis (A) in a second direction that is opposite the first direction. A worktable comprising said mechanism is also disclosed.
