    摘要: A device comprising: an acoustic transducer comprising a phased array of transducer elements, wherein the transducer elements are arranged in a circular pattern; one or more processors; and a computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the acoustic transducer to perform functions comprising: transmitting a focused ultrasound wave from the acoustic transducer into a medium to form (i) an ultrasound intensity well within the medium that exhibits a first range of acoustic pressure and (ii) a surrounding region of the medium that surrounds the ultrasound intensity well and exhibits a second range of acoustic pressure that exceeds the first range of acoustic pressure; and interacting an object within the ultrasound intensity well with the focused ultrasound wave; wherein said phased array is configured to electronically focus or steer said ultrasound wave upon various portions of said medium and/or said object, characterized in that, transmitting the focused ultrasound wave into the medium comprises transmitting the focused ultrasound wave in one direction of propagation away from the acoustic transducer into the medium.
