摘要： A clip (10) for mounting an object such as an electrical box on a stud is provided which comprises a first side portion (16) for engaging a first surface of the stud; a second side portion (17) for engaging a second surface of the stud; the second side portion including at least one box clip arm for securing the electrical box to the clip; and at least one support member (34) extending between the electrical box and the second surface of the stud for substantially preventing flexing of the clip and inward movement of the electrical box when a force is applied generally inwardly of the electrical box.

摘要： An adjustable two-piece clip for mounting an object such as an electrical box on a stud is provided which comprises a first clip part engageable with the stud for securement of the clip to the stud; a second clip part engageable with the first clip part for holding the object on the clip; and at least one support member extending between the second clip part and a surface of the stud for substantially preventing flexing of the clip and inward movement of the object when a force is applied generally inwardly of the object. Also, the leg of the second clip part may be slidable relative to the leg of the first clip part lengthwise of the leg of the first clip part thereby enabling selection of a position of the object being held by the second clip part relative to the stud. In a preferred embodiment, the clip includes adjustment members with tabs on their distal ends for adjusting the relative position of the legs and for holding the first and second clip parts together during initial assembly.

摘要： A wire clip (10) supports a plurality of electrical wires and cables (50) to a wallboard stud (52) in a position spaced from the wallboard (54). The wiring clip (10) includes a mounting member (12) for securement to the stud (52). A cable support member (20) extends from the mounting member (12) for accommodating electrical cables (50). A cable securement member (26) is frangibly formed with the cable support member (20) to provide for detachment therefrom. Cable securement member, once detached from the cable support member, is secured to the cable support member in a manner which serves the wires therebetween to space the wires from the wallboard (54).
