摘要: The present invention aims to provide a joint structure, a joined assembly, and a set of members in which high joining strength is developed by fitting. It provides a joint structure including a first joint part formed in a first member and a second joint part formed in a second member that are fitted and fixed together wherein at least either of the first member and the second member is made of a fiber reinforced plastic material that contains reinforcing fibers with an average fiber length of 1 mm or more; the first joint part has a recessed shape in at least one cross-section of the joint structure while the second joint part has a shape that fits into the recessed shape of the first joint part in that cross-section; and there exists a pressing force between the first joint part and the second joint part so that the first member and the second member are fitted and fixed together.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a process for producing a fiber-reinforced plastic. The process is capable of producing a high-quality fiber-reinforced plastic with good yield in a short molding cycle time despite being atmospheric pressure molding. The present invention is characterized by using local contact heating to give different temperature conditions for producing a fiber-reinforced plastic by atmospheric pressure molding from a fiber-reinforced material which contains a reinforcing fiber impregnated with a thermosetting resin composition.

摘要: Provided is a prepreg in which 5 to 65 parts by weight of a fiber sheet substrate is impregnated with 35 to 95 parts by weight of a resin, the fiber sheet substrate containing more than 50% by weight but 99% by weight or less of discontinuous carbon fibers (A) and 1% by weight or more but less than 50% by weight of discontinuous organic fibers (B) that are uniformly dispersed, wherein the prepreg satisfies any one of the following Conditions 1 to 3: Condition 1: the resin is a thermoplastic resin (C), and a difference between a melting point Tmb (°C) of the organic fibers (B) and a melting point Tmc (°C) of the thermoplastic resin (C) (Tmb - Tmc) is 20 to 200°C; Condition 2: the resin is a thermosetting resin (D), and a difference between the melting point Tmb (°C) of the organic fibers (B) and a curing temperature Tmd (°C) of the thermosetting resin (D) (Tmb - Tmd) is 20 to 400°C; and Condition 3: the organic fibers (B) have no melting point. A prepreg, a preform, and a fiber-reinforced plastic molded article, which have excellent moldability, mechanical properties, and impact strength, are provided.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to obtain a prepreg laminate that is a fiber-reinforced plastic material having high rigidity and lightweight properties and excellent in moldability into a complicated shape. The present invention is a prepreg laminate obtained by a prepreg (A), in which non-continuous reinforcing fibers are impregnated with a thermosetting resin or thermoplastic resin, and a prepreg (B), in which non-continuous reinforcing fibers are impregnated with a thermoplastic resin, being laminated adjacent to each other, and by the prepreg (A) being disposed on at least one surface, at least some combinations of the prepreg (A) and the prepreg (B) adjacent to each other forming an overlap region that satisfies at least one of (1) and (2) below: (1) a coefficient of variation in fiber length of the non-continuous reinforcing fibers included in the prepreg (B) is larger than a coefficient of variation in fiber length of the non-continuous reinforcing fibers included in the prepreg (A); and (2) the prepreg (B) has a plurality of incisions at which the non-continuous reinforcing fibers included in the prepreg (B) are cut, and an average value of a two-dimensional orientation angle of the non-continuous reinforcing fibers included in the prepreg (B) is larger than an average value of a two-dimensional orientation angle of the non-continuous reinforcing fibers included in the prepreg (A).
