摘要: In a plate-type heat exchanger provided with a plurality of heat exchanger elements (4) each constructed of a pair of elongated plates (2, 3) each of which is provided with a pair of inlet/outlet openings (1) in its opposite end portions, a corrugated spacer member (5) for reinforcing each of the inlet/outlet openings (1) is reduced in weight and improved in heat exchanging properties. The spacer member (5) assuming an annular corrugated shape is interposed between vertically aligned adjacent ones of the inlet/outlet openings (1) of the stacked elongated plates (2, 3) in the heat exchanger element (4). This corrugated spacer member (5) is constructed of a metal plate corrugated over its entire circumference.

摘要: In a "stacked" type heat exchanger having a stack of elements (2) through the interior of which a first fluid flows and having a core support (5) arranged at the end of the stack in the stacked direction, the core support (5) includes slits (6) that extend from its edges up to the central portion, the slits (6) capable of slightly deforming when subjected to a thermal stress. It is thus possible to reduce the thermal stress which may be applied to both the core support (5) and the elements (2) when there arises a difference of thermal expansion therebetween.

摘要: A heat exchanger is provided with a casing (5) in which a heat exchanger core (3) is received. The core (3) is provided with a pair of inlet/outlet pipes (1) in its opposite end portions. These pipes (1) pass through the casing (5) to project outward. The heat exchanger is capable of sufficiently absorbing any difference in thermal expansion between its components such as the casing (5) and the core (3), which is realized by the provision of a bellows (6) fluid-tightly interposed between at least one of the inlet/outlet pipes (1) of the core (3) and a corresponding one of a pair of through-hole portions (4) of the casing (5).
