    摘要: The clamping mechanism [100] and associated method of the present invention includes an inner component [101] having a platform [103] defining a fiber channel [104] and a clamping member [102] disposed over said fiber channel. The inner component defines a cavity [117] above said clamping member to receive a rotating member [121]. The clamping mechanism [100] includes an actuator [107] comprising the rotating member [121] disposed in the cavity [117] and restrained therein from moving radially. The rotating member [121] is configured to rotate along an axis parallel to the fiber channel and to interact with the clamping member [102] such that rotating the rotating member causes the clamping member to move toward the fiber channel such that any fiber [105] disposed therein is clamped between said clamping component and said platform.
