    摘要： An aqueous liquid bleaching composition is described having a pH of from 1 to 6.5 and comprising a surfactant, an electrolyte and an organic peroxyacid having the formula:

    wherein X is H, alkyl, halogen, a carboxyl group, or the same peroxycarboxylic acid group:

    in symmetrical position to the first peroxyacid group on the aromatic ring;
    R is a straight or branched chain lower alkylene having 1-4 carbon atoms, preferably -CH₂-; and n is an integer from 1-12, preferably from 3-8. A preferred peroxyacid is phthaloylaminoperoxycaproic acid.

    摘要： A laundry treatment product, in the form of a sachet containing a particulate bleaching detergent composition containing sodium percarbonate, has at least two compartments to enable the sodium percarbonate to be segregated from certain other ingredients, particularly zeolites. The sachet product exhibits improved bleach stability on storage. Sachets of water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol film are not insolubilised in the wash liquor since no sodium perborate is present to generate insolubilising borate ions.

    摘要： An improved process for preparing dry particulate bodies containing a solid peroxyacid compound is disclosed, comprising the steps of
    (A) forming a water-wet mixture of a solid peroxyacid compound and a hydratable material having a temperature of hydration of up to 40° C, at a temperature which is higher than the temperature of hydration of the hydratable material; (B) forming the mixture of (A) into particles of the desired shape and size before, during or after cooling the mass to below the temperature of hydration of the hydratable material; and (C) drying the particles obtained from step (B), the improvement being that in step (A) a film-forming material is incorporated in, and intimately mixed with, the water-wet mixture, forming a mix having a pH of below 7. The peroxyacid-containing bodies obtainable therefrom are extremely suitable for use as a bleach additive and for the incorporation in bleaching and/or detergent powder compositions.
