摘要： An exfoliating cosmetic composition includes an insoluble solid particulate exfoliating material, the particles of which are friable under conditions of use of the composition. A suitable exfoliating material is a particular agglomerated thickening silica. The composition is particularly useful for treatment of the scalp and hair, where, owing to the friability of the material, there is no undesirable residual grittiness.
