摘要: The present invention relates to certain linear polyacetylene containing compounds which are indicated as having a positive allosteric modulating activity on the GABAA receptor. More specifically the invention relates to linear polyacetylene containing compounds having a β-subunit selective, positive allosteric modulating activity on the GABAA receptor and substantially lacking a binding capability at the benzodiazepine binding site, their use as agents for the treatment of diseases of the central nervous system (CNS) in mammals, such as humans, and in particular in the treatment of CNS diseases, such as anxiety and epilepsy.
