摘要： An AC to DC power converter comprises an input filter (2) for filtering the alternating current input (1) and an output filter (6) for filtering and smoothing the direct current power output to a load (7). The output alternating current of the input filter (2) is rectified by a rectifier (3) and electronically switched by transistor (16) at a frequency much higher than the frequency of the alternating line current input. The rectified line current is sensed by a current transformer (29) and provided to an integrator circuit (9) whose output provides one control signal input of a pulse width modulator circuit (10). The pulse width modulator circuit (10) drives transistor (16) and at the same time, provides an output to a discharge circuit (8) for discharging the integrator circuit (9).
