    摘要: The electromagnetic actuator for a heat engine starter comprises at least one winding (24; 25) for creating a magnetic field and a magnetic circuit cooperating with the winding in order to cause a magnetic flux to circulate therein. The magnetic circuit comprises a yoke (322, 323) and a mobile core (321) that can be moved from an initial position to an end position. The magnetic field of the winding creates a magnetic force that acts on the mobile core in order to move it from the initial position to the end position. The yoke and the mobile core each have at least one protrusion, that of the yoke forming an opening. The protrusion of the mobile core, in the initial position, is outside the opening, then penetrates the opening when it moves from the initial position to the end position, remaining in this penetration position when the mobile core is in the end position. This means that the magnetic force is maximised before the end position, which limits the size of the shock.
