摘要： The present invention refers to a gear paddle switch unit (10) for triggering a gear shift in a vehicle, wherein the gear paddle switch unit (10) comprises a main body (52), and at least one steering wheel paddle (12, 14) with an actuation portion (22) for actuating the steering wheel paddle (12, 14) by a user and an opposing triggering portion (24) for triggering a gear shift, wherein the gear paddle switch unit (10) further comprises a bearing (21) for movably fixing the at least one steering wheel paddle (12, 14) such, that the triggering portion (24) is pivotable relatively to the main body (52) between a resting position and a triggering position, wherein the triggering portion (24) is held in the resting position preloaded with a preload force caused by a triggering unit (25) so that the triggering portion (24) is moved from the triggering position to the resting position by said preload force after release of the steering wheel paddle (12, 14) by the user in the triggering position,
characterised in that,
the triggering unit (25) is configured for providing a magnetic force for preloading the triggering portion (24) in the resting position for providing a haptic feedback to a user when actuating the steering wheel paddle (12, 14).
