摘要: Provided is a system (100) for controlling a cooking apparatus (102), which cooking apparatus comprises a cooking chamber (104) and a heating system (106). The system comprises a controller (122) configured to receive a target core temperature to which food received in the cooking chamber is to be heated. The controller controls power supply to the heating system such that the heating system heats the cooking chamber until a trigger core temperature of the food sensed by the food temperature sensor is reached. The controller then reduces or ceases power supply to the heating system in response to the trigger core temperature being reached. The trigger core temperature is lower than the target core temperature. Further provided is a related method and computer program.
