摘要： In a flapper nozzle fluid control system a radial outward flow turbine-like flapper (15) is used as the flapper. The angular velocity of the turboflapper (15) is used to lift the turboflapper off a backplate (23) towards a nozzle (11). The amount of lift of the backplate (23) and hence nozzle outlet area is a function of the angular velocity of the turboflapper (15). An adjustable opposing torque on the turboflapper (15) controls the angular velocity of the turboflapper and thus controls the flow rate.
