摘要： The invention relates to a belt (1) which is intended for transporting a material web in a web-producing and/or web-processing machine, in particular a paper, cardboard or tissue machine, from a first transfer location to a second transfer location and which is bounded transversely at both end sides by a respective longitudinal edge (3), wherein the belt (1) comprises a load-bearing basic structure (4) which is arranged between a polymer layer (5) on the paper side and a polymer layer (6) on the operating side, and wherein a peripheral reinforcement (11) is provided in the region of at least one longitudinal edge (3). The invention is characterized in that the peripheral reinforcement (11) is formed in that, in the region of the longitudinal edge (3), the two polymer layers (5, 6) project beyond the basic structure (4) in the transverse direction of the belt (1) and a resulting groove (9), which extends in the longitudinal direction of the belt (1), is filled, at least in certain regions, with a polymer material (10). The invention also relates to a method of producing a belt.

摘要： An industrial belt having a non-linear seam adapted to be on-machine joinable. In a particular embodiment, the seam is made up of a opposite end regions of the belt having complementary projections, such as in the form of castellations, which engage at the seam, providing a completely integrated belt throughout the zone of the seam. In the field of papermaking, the belt of the invention can take the form of a transfer belt, whereby the invention provides a fully interlocking, strong seam which minimizes any potential mechanical or hydraulic sheet marking. The invention also includes a method of creating the end regions of the belt, seaming the belt, and casting the belt.

The textile fabric is permeable with a permeability of at least 300 cfm, preferably of at least 500 cfm, and the polymer coating extends in one piece from the first side of the textile fabric through the openings of the textile fabric to the second side of the textile fabric.
