The invention relates to a press-hardening tool (100) for producing hardened shaped sheet metal parts from a sheet steel material (400), comprising at least two tool parts which are movable in relation to each other in a working direction (D) and between which, under application of a pressure force (F) acting in the working direction (D), a heated sheet steel material (400) can be shaped and cooled and in the process hardened. It is provided that at least one of the tool parts (220) is formed in a segmented manner and has at least a first segment (221) having a shaped section extending transversely to the working direction (D) and at least a second segment (223) having a shaped section extending steeply with respect to the working direction (D), wherein the first segment (221) is arranged in a movable manner on the relevant tool part (220) and, when a particular pressure force (F) is exceeded, can yield (A) counter to the pressure force (F) applied, in order as a result to allow continued moving together of the tool parts and associated intensified pressing (B, C) of the second segment (223) against the sheet steel material (400).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing a coolable molding tool (1) and to such a coolable molding tool (1). In order to provide an improved molding tool and also an improved method, the invention comprises the following steps: producing a partial body (13) of the molding tool (1) which has fluid paths on a surface (17) of the tool; protecting the fluid paths against penetration of particles; and applying a cover layer (15) over the protected fluid paths (17) by means of a thermal coating process.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for heat treating a hardenable sheet metal component, in particular for a motor vehicle, said method consisting of press hardening the sheet metal component in a forming tool, removing the sheet metal component from said forming tool. Said method is characterised by forming locally defined soft areas of the sheet metal component by means of locally tempering predetermined sub-areas of the sheet metal component by means of a laser beam method, according to which the predetermined sub-areas are exposed to a laser beam. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out said method, to a method for producing a group of components and to a motor vehicle comprising said type of group of components.

The invention relates to a method for pre-treating and preparing a sheet metal part (5) having a metal layer (3) for subsequent processing. In order to make the improved pre-treatment and preparation possible, tempering of the sheet metal part (5) for the duration of a first time period in a first temperature range, and thereby transforming the metal layer (3) by tempering is provided. During a second time period, the execution of at least one of the elements of the following group is provided: Maintaining the first temperature range; cooling down the sheet metal part (5); cooling down the sheet metal part (5) to an ambient temperature; storing the sheet metal part (5); heating the sheet metal part (5) to a second temperature range as necessary for subsequent processing.
