    摘要: The present invention relates to mineral delivery systems and methods. More specifically, the present invention relates to mineral delivery systems and methods that contain an insoluble mineral carbonate and a solid organic acid. When in contact with saliva or other like aqueous solution, the solid acid dissolves and reacts with the mineral carbonate in situ. The reaction will then convert the water insoluble mineral carbonate to a soluble mineral organic salt, thus facilitating mineral delivery. The systems and methods of the present invention can employ a variety of different and suitable delivery agents, such as gums or the like.
