摘要: An induction heating device comprises a D.C. power supply (46) referenced to a ground connection (54). The D.C. power supply (46) is configured to supply power to the induction heating device and comprises a voltage rectifier (50) configured to rectify an input voltage into a direct current and output the D.C. voltage to a D.C. bus (48) and a ground connection (54). The device further comprises a plurality of resonant loads (36) arranged in a matrix (62) comprising a plurality of columns (70) and a plurality of rows (72). A plurality of second switching devices (86b) are in connection with each of the rows (72) between the resonant loads (36) and the ground connection (54).

摘要: According to the method of controlling a switching converter of this disclosure, the following operations are carried out: :
regulation of the output power to be delivered to the at least one resonant load is obtained adjusting the common switching frequency of all said PWM control signals and the phase displacement of all said PWM control signals, wherein said step of adjusting the phase displacement is carried out by adjusting a time delay between the turning-on of diagonal switches of said two half-bridge switching stages connecting said resonant load, within the same switching period. The phase displacement is carried out until hard-switching working conditions for said half-bridge switching stages are met, and wherein when said hard switching working conditions are met the method further comprises the step of adjusting the common switching frequency of all said PWM control signals to thereby prevent hard-switching working conditions.
The control method of this disclosure is particularly suitable for being used in multi-stage inverters according to this disclosure, comprising more than three half-bridge switching stages.-

摘要: The ticking noise that can be heard when the QR-converter is operated to deliver a power level smaller than the minimum power level for having a soft-switching is due to the fact that during the OFF interval there is no power delivery and the DC-bus capacitance is charged at the peak of rectified mains line voltage.
This drawback may be overcome by discharging purposely the DC-bus during an OFF interval of the QR-converter so as the DC-bus is substantially discharged when a new ON interval of the QR-converter is started.-

The intermediate current terminal of each half-bridge switching stage is directly connected to a respective capacitor; each half-bridge switching stage and the respective capacitor directly connected thereto are installed on a same circuit board; the at least one C-L-C resonant tank is composed by the heat induction coil (L) electrically connected in series between the two capacitors (C) installed on the circuit board .
